SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATIONS
- All students MUST respect themselves, teaching/support staff, Students’ leaders, Visitors and Students’ Court. Failure to observe this rule by the students will lead to a suspension or dismissal.
- All students MUST attend to all lessons, Preps, tests and examinations. Breach of this leads to a suspension.
- Students must report to school on the first day of the term unless there is prior notice to the headmaster. No student should report to school beyond 5Pm. Parents of such students shall be called to school for explanation.
- Students MUST speak English at all times when at school or outside school on Educational tours. Students will be exempted from using English during a lesson where English is inappropriate for communication or talking to a parent/Guardian who does not know the English Language or whose knowledge of the English language is inadequate. Any student(s) who breaks this rule will be cautioned and warned.
- Late coming for any school program is prohibited. Any student(s) who breaks this rule will be suspended.
- Meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Evening tea and supper) are compulsory and all students must partake of the food served at the cafeteria. Time for meals should be strictly observed. Any student who reports late for meals will not be served.
- Noise making/any disruption of lessons/Preps and in dormitories is prohibited. Noise makers will be suspended.
- All students must occupy only the dormitories/ rooms allocated to them. Failure to observe this will lead to a suspension.
- Illicit drugs, alcohol, smoking/sniffing or taking any intoxicating substance are highly prohibited for use in the school. Breach of this rule leads to dismissal.
- No student is allowed to go out of school without a written permission by the school Headmaster, in his absence the Deputy Headmaster. Breach of this rule leads to dismissal.
- No student is allowed in the dormitory of students of the opposite sex unless with a sound reason. Breach of this rule leads to dismissal.
- No student is allowed to invite visitor(s) in the school without authority of the Headmaster. Failure to observe this will lead to a suspension.
- Unhealthy relationships/Coupling; boy-girl, boy-boy and girl-girl are prohibited. Masturbation is also highly prohibited .Breach of this leads to suspension.
- All students must wear school uniform during class time, school functions, Church services, when reporting to school and going out of school for holidays (e.g. school fees, games, Seminars and trips). Failure to observe this rule by the students will lead to a suspension.
- No student is allowed in the dormitory during lesson/prep time. Whoever is caught will be suspended.
- Cutting/tampering of school uniform is not allowed. Breach of this leads to a suspension and a student will be made to buy another uniform.
- Any student who maliciously damage school property will be suspended and made to meet the cost of replacing it.
- It is a serious offence for a student to fight any body in school. The student(s) involved will be immediately suspended.
- Any student who is convicted of a criminal offence by the court of law will forth with be expelled from the school.
- Teasing and bullying of any nature is highly prohibited at school. Any student involved will forth with be expelled from school.
- Any student who does not show a satisfactory standard in class, tests and examinations will be advised to repeat the class.
- Any communication gadgets (like radios, phones, iPad, etc.) of any kind are not allowed in school. The student(s) involved will be immediately suspended. Any confiscated illegal material is non-returnable to neither the Parent/Guardian nor the student.
- Perming, Plaiting of hair, nail painting, earrings and make ups are not allowed during school days. The hair should not go beyond the brush level. The student(s) involved will be immediately suspended.
- Stealing is highly prohibited and any student caught will be paraded on assembly for public viewing and also suspended from school.
- It is a serious offence to cheat in tests and examinations internally or externally organized. Any student caught will be suspended immediately.
- If at any stage a student is found to have given wrong information on the application form, such a student will be disqualified and dismissed immediately.
- Unauthorized trade by students is not allowed in school. Failure to observe this rule will lead to a suspension.
- Church/Juma services on Sundays/Fridays respectively are compulsory. Students who dodge these services will be immediately suspended.
- Private lamps, match boxes, lighters, flammable oils (Acid, Diesel petrol, paraffin, Coliform) and candles are prohibited at school. These items will be confiscated and the student(s) involved will be suspended immediately.
- No student is allowed to bring any fire arm, iron bar, tear gas canisters, spear/swords/knives or any sharp object that is a danger to himself and others. Such students will be suspended and handed over to police.
- Forging of school documents like academic report cards, Identity card, bank slips etc. is highly prohibited and if caught such a student will be suspended from school.
